Carolyn is a painter and ceramicist based in Portland OR. She finds inspiration from textiles, patterns, and color all around and seeks to imbue ordinary objects with unexpected and interesting textures. Professionally, she has a love for vases, dried flowers, and textiles. Personally, she has a deep love for snacks. Her goal is to bring some brightness and cheer to the world around, be it through art, humor, or baked goods. She is a professional Civil Engineer and an art school drop-out.
